Exploring the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado Trim Levels
The 2019 Colorado comes in five different trim levels featuring various technology features, design elements, and capability features. Here we’ll dive into each trim level, so you can have a better understanding of which configuration is perfect for your lifestyle.
Chevrolet Colorado Base
The Chevrolet Colorado Base comes equipped with a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission which provides 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque capabilities. This trim level comes in the body style extended cab long box, which means you’ll have an ample amount of space in your interior cabin and also in your trunk bed. You’ll also get a standard two-wheel drive (2WD) system in the Base.
Chevrolet Colorado WT
The WT comes with the same 2.5L 4-cylinder engine you’ll find in the Base, but it also boasts a Hydra-Matic® 6-speed automatic transmission, which provides an exceptionally smooth ride. You’ll have the choice between a 2-wheel drive version or a 4-wheel drive (4WD) system for extra traction control. This trim level comes in three different body styles, extended cab long box, crew cab short box, and crew cab long box.
Chevrolet Colorado LT
In the Chevy LT you’ll find everything from the WT trim level, but the LT provides a few different design elements than the previous levels do. The exterior features a body-color rear bumper, mirror caps, and door handles. The 17-inch aluminum wheels are sure to turn heads as you drive by. You’ll also get advanced technology features like Remote Keyless Entry, and the Chevrolet Infotainment System with 8-inch color touch-screen display.
Chevrolet Colorado Z71
In the Chevy Colorado Z71 trim level, you’ll find the Z71 off-road suspension, which provides you with the ability to maintain traction control on especially rough terrain. The exterior features unique 17-inch painted wheels and all-terrain tires, which look as great as they perform. Again, you’ll have the choice between a 2WD and 4WD system.
Chevrolet Colorado Z72
The Z72 is the only trim level that doesn’t provide you with a choice between the 2WD and 4WD system, instead it comes standard with 4WD. It also comes equipped with the off-road suspension and the Off-Road Appearance Package, providing you with ultimate traction control no matter what weather you’re traveling through. You’ll have a choice between the extended cab long box body style or the crew cab short box body style.
