Can’t decide between the Chevy Bolt EV or Chevy Bolt EUV? While both of these fantastic electric vehicles have a lot in common, there are also some differences to know about.

Power

Both the Chevy Bolt EV and Chevy Bolt EUV come with an electric motor and 66-kWh lithium-ion battery. These combine to produce 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, which will seem slightly more responsive in the smaller Chevy Bolt EV.

Fuel Economy

The Chevy Bolt EV Chevy Bolt EUV also have the same MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent): 131 for the city and 109 on the highway. The combined city/highway MPGe rating is 115.

Driving Range and Charging Times

When the battery in the Chevy Bolt EV is fully charged, you’ll be able to travel up to 259 miles. With the Chevy Bolt EUV, that drops to 250 miles. Both cars can have their batteries completely juiced up in about seven hours with a 240-volt outlet or a Level 2 charging station. A DC Fast Charging station will get you up to 95 miles of charge in 30 minutes.

Space

The interior of both the Chevy Bolt EV and Chevy Bolt EUV is spacious, and up to five people will fit very comfortably. As for cargo space, the Chevy Bolt EV offers 16.6 cubic feet behind the back row and 57 cubic feet when it’s folded. The Chevy Bolt EUV will give you 16.3 cubic feet behind its back row and 56.9 cubic feet when it’s down.

Both the Chevy Bolt EV and Chevy Bolt EUV come with many advanced tech features, including an infotainment system with a 10.2-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto™.
