Did you know that used cars can come with warranty coverage? Of course, they have to be the right used cars. Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet models, for example, come with two warranties.
Extended New Car Bumper-To-Bumper Limited Warranty
Every new Chevy comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. And all CPO models will whatever’s left of that.
Plus, when it ends, it will be covered by an additional 12 months or 12,000 miles.
Extended Powertrain Limited Warranty
All new Chevy models have a 6-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. And when they become CPO vehicles, they still benefit from that coverage.
What Do These Warranties Cover?
Both of these warranties cover a wide range of parts and components, such as the engine, drivetrain, and transmission. You will also get emergency roadside assistance for the duration of the powertrain warranty.
This includes jumpstarts, gas delivery, and flat tire changes. If necessary, you can also get your car towed to an authorized repair facility, as well as receive a reimbursement for alternate transportation.
CARFAX Vehicle History Report
You’ll never be in the dark about how your CPO vehicle was treated by previous owners with a comprehensive history report.
Free Scheduled Maintenance
You’ll get two free maintenance visits within two years or 24,000 miles. These include oil and filter changes, multi-point inspections, and tire rotations.
Free Trials
CPO Chevy models come with a free 3-month trial of OnStar, which includes navigation services and automatic crash response. You will also get three free months of SiriusXM® satellite radio.
