Have you read a Chevy Trax review? If you’re looking for an agile SUV, this model could be just what you need. However, there are many competitors in the subcompact SUV class, so it can be hard to make a firm decision. Check out this guide to both the 2021 Chevy Trax and the Ford EcoSport:
Power and Performance
While certainly no muscle car, the Chevy Trax does come with a peppy 1.4-liter engine that will give you 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque. This is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard in this Chevrolet SUV, but all-wheel drive is available. The Chevy Trax is very easy to maneuver and it offers a smooth ride.
The Ford EcoSport comes with a turbocharged 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder engine that puts out just 123 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque. This also comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Tech
The Chevy Trax comes many built-in tech features, including:
• A 7-inch touchscreen
• Satellite radio
• A 6-speaker stereo
• Bluetooth®
• 2 USB ports
• Android Auto™
• Apple CarPlay™
• Voice command
• A Wi-Fi hot spot
• Remote keyless entry
Many of these features can be found in the Ford EcoSport, but not in the base model. You will need to upgrade to get a touchscreen, satellite radio, Android Auto™, or Apple CarPlay™.
The Chevy Trax is clearly the winner in these areas, but if you’re not entirely sure which SUV to go with, it’s time for a test drive. Visit our Chevy dealership in Allentown to get behind the wheel of the Chevy Trax.
