The Best Small Used Trucks for Sale at Scott Chevrolet

You can always find a big selection of new cars at Scott Chevrolet. We also typically carry a variety of used vehicles as well, and these include small used trucks for sale. Today we’re profiling one of the best in used trucks on the market: the 2018 Chevy Colorado.

2018 Chevy Colorado Details

Power and Performance

The base Chevrolet Colorado comes with a 2.5-liter engine that pumps out 200 horsepower. There were also two other engines available: a 181-horsepower turbocharged 2.8-liter diesel configuration and a 308-horsepower 3.6-liter V6.

Rear-wheel drive is standard, as is a 6-speed manual transmission. This truck has very nice handling and an excellent suspension system.

Fuel Economy

Few compact pickup trucks can match what the Chevy Colorado offers in terms of gas mileage. The base engine with rear-wheel drive offers 20 MPG in the city and 26 MPG out on the highway.

Towing and Hauling

For a truck on the smaller side, the Chevy Colorado has outstanding towing ability, as it will let you tow up to 7,700 pounds when properly equipped. Its maximum payload of 1,576 isn’t too shabby either.

Interior

The base Chevy Colorado only has one row that fits two people. However, higher trims add a row—there’s room for four in the Extended Cab and five in the Crew cab.

Vinyl upholstery and a power-adjustable driver’s seat come standard. You can also get an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, two USB ports, Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, and Bluetooth®.
